Leave the spreadsheet.
Run time off like a pro.

You're the founder, the office manager, the finance lead who ended up running everyone's holiday in a spreadsheet. Ferio is the time-off system that makes it effortless: requests, approvals, balances and a shared calendar the whole team actually uses. Set up in an afternoon. And the rules aren't guesswork. Every entitlement is built from each country's labour code, so you're covered without ever having to learn it yourself.

Run time off like a company twice your size.

All the polish of a proper HR operation, none of the overhead. The everyday things a shared spreadsheet was never going to do for you.

Country-aware, out of the box

Nine ready-made country profiles preload public holidays, accrual rules, age/child supplements and part-time math. Mix nationalities in one team, and each person gets the calendar and calculation their country requires.

The maths, handled for you

Accruals, carryover, proration and each country's entitlement rules are worked out automatically, so the numbers are always right, and you never open a formula or read a statute to get there.

Requests in a tap, approvals in seconds

People book time off from web or phone, managers approve with a single tap, and balances update themselves. The back-and-forth that used to fill your inbox just stops.

Compliant by design

Legal-minimum guardrails block under-allocation. Audit trails record every retro entry, with mandatory justification. Your workspace is isolated; no cross-company data, ever.

Reports & export

Per-person, per-team, and per-country reports. Export CSV or PDF for payroll hand-offs.

You don't need an HRIS to run leave.

Most leave software is one tab bolted onto a system built to do performance reviews, payroll and org charts. You wanted none of that. Ferio does exactly one job. Completely.

Too fragile

The spreadsheet

Free, familiar, and quietly wrong. One formula slip and you're personally on the hook, and it breaks the day you hire in a second country.

Too much

A full HRIS

Fourteen modules, a rollout project, and a per-head price for a dozen things you'll never switch on. You're buying a suite to solve one problem.

Just right

Ferio

Just leave, done properly. Every feature on every plan, priced to the size of the problem, not the size of the software.

from €50 / month

Hire in a second country, and the spreadsheet gives up.

Two holiday calendars, two sets of rules, one sheet, held together by you. Ferio just absorbs it: every person on the right calendar and the right balance, in one shared workspace, without you learning three countries' labour law. Coming off an EOR like Deel or Remote? The handover that usually means a scramble becomes a Tuesday.

A name borrowed from Latin,
because holidays are ancient business.

In Roman Latin, a feria was a holiday: a day set aside from ordinary work. The plural feriae covered religious holidays, public festivals, and stretches of rest that were sacred and protected by law.

We chose Ferio because the idea at the heart of this product is older than any labour code: people need time away, and that time should be honoured cleanly, not negotiated over email threads. The name is short, European, and it scans the same way across every language we serve.

ALSO  ·  in the Western church calendar, weekdays are still called feria secunda, feria tertia, and so on. Weekdays as "little holidays"; we liked that, too.

feriaLAT · n. f.
1.A day of rest; a holiday.
2. A festival day; a public holiday.
3. (pl. feriae) A period of vacation or respite from labour.
 ferias ago – "I take a holiday"
dies feriae – "a day set aside"
 feriae publicae – "public holidays"

For most teams, a working morning. The 11-step wizard handles company basics, country profiles, holidays, leave types, roles, software-role permissions, the user import, working time, quotas and opening balances, then runs a pre-launch validator that catches missing dates and under-configured profiles before you press go. Median go-live: 30 minutes.
Yes. One workspace, multiple country profiles. Each person is assigned to a country, and Ferio applies the right public holidays, accrual rules, age and child supplements, and proration for them automatically. The team Gantt shows everyone in one view, but each individual sees their own correct calendar.
Each country profile carries its own statutory base, age and dependent supplements, accrual model, and any continuous-block requirements. Pick one of the 30 profiles we ship, tweak it, or build a custom one. Ferio applies the right entitlement for every person automatically, including proration for mid-year hires.
All data is stored in EU data centres (Frankfurt, primary; Amsterdam, secondary). Each customer runs in an isolated workspace; no cross-company data, ever. We're a registered data controller, sign DPAs as standard, and the audit log records every retro change with mandatory justification. Enterprise customers can request specific residency.
Probably yes. Default is single-step (line manager), but you can configure multi-step chains, auto-approval for executive roles, and named delegates for absences. Sick days can be filed retroactively with required documents and routed for review without blocking the calendar.
Yes. Every plan includes every feature: country profiles, multi-step approvals, integrations, audit logs, reports, exports. Plans differ by how many people are in your workspace and how you're billed. Basic is up to 15 seats at a flat €50/month, Per Seat is 16–130 seats at €3/seat/month, and Enterprise is 131+ with custom terms.
Ferio integrates with Google Calendar and supports iCal feeds for any calendar app (Outlook, Apple Calendar, and the rest). Webhooks for internal automation are on the roadmap.
Always. You can export every record (people, leave history, approvals, audit log) to CSV at any time, no questions asked. Cancel from the admin panel; we delete your workspace and PII within 30 days of the contract ending, or sooner on request.
